Life in the new shanty town taking root on Paris’s abandoned railway
In the January 5th edition of The Guardian (British newspaper), Annabelle Azadé tries to describe the life in the shanty town built since July 2015 on a part of the Petite Ceinture railway, located near the porte de Clignancourt and the Saint-Ouen Flea Market (north districts of Paris).
This article contains two formal errors related to the line history and the current status of the Petite Ceinture : this line has not been “derelict for several decades” and is not “abandoned”.
